 Their Big day!

Emily and Ben’s wedding was an absolute scorcher! The sun was shining brightly as I arrived at Emily’s parents’ farm in Mansfield, Nottingham, where the bridal preparations were taking place, making it even more of a special moment for their big day.

Allow me to tell you about their day.

As the time drew near, Emily git into her beautiful dress and her bridal party hopped into not just one, but two stunning wedding cars to make their way to the church. Talk about arriving in style! The ceremony was held in a charming church in Mansfield, and it was a truly beautiful moment when they exchanged their vows.

But here’s where things got really unique and fun. After the ceremony, waiting for them outside was a big blue tractor, ready to take them back to the farm, that added a touch of countryside charm to the day. I quickly made my way back to the farm, eager to capture the convoy of tractors with my trusty drone.

Emily and Ben decided to switch tractors along the way. It was brilliant to see Emily’s dad as their driver while they relaxed in the back of the decked-out tractor. It became clear that this tractor held a special place in their hearts, as it symbolised their family’s deep connection and made for an unforgettable wedding day detail.

The festivities continued with a delightful wedding breakfast held in a beautifully decorated marquee right on the farm grounds. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting, and the love and joy in the air were contagious. After the speeches, we gathered for some group photos near the house, capturing the essence of togetherness and celebration.

As the evening rolled in, the party kicked into high gear. The evening guests began to arrive just as we were getting creative with portrait photos, adding an extra pop of excitement with vibrant smoke bombs. Laughter and cheer filled the air as we captured their true personalities and the love between them. There bridesmaids were absolutely amazing and helped with the creative flare.

Now, let’s talk about the food! Ben’s friend took charge of an old-school hog roast, tirelessly turning it by hand all day. The result? A mouthwatering feast that left everyone craving for more. But the food extravaganza didn’t end there. There was also a delightful pizza van and an ice cream van, ensuring no one would go hungry or miss out on a delicious treat. And with bouncy castles, outdoor toys, a Photo Booth, and a live band for their first dance, the wedding had entertainment for guests of all ages.

Emily and Ben’s first dance was an unforgettable moment. The live band set the perfect mood as they swayed together, surrounded by the warmth of their loved ones and the evening continued with cutting the cake, capturing some lovely sparkler photos, and creating memories that would last a lifetime.
