Capturing the Love: Kelly and Lee’s Wedding at Thoresby Hall
Their Big day!
It was obvious from the start that this would be a day filled with joy, love, and laughter. Lee and Kelly’s wedding was truly unforgettable, from the pre-wedding shoot at Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire to the amazing guests having a blast on the dance floor.
But first there pre wedding shoot.
Their Pre-wedding Photoshoot
A picturesque pre-wedding shoot at Newark’s stunning Thoresby Hall in Nottinghamshire captured a couple’s love and joy before their big day. The couple’s daughter and their beloved dog were also present for the shoot, lending a sense of family love and warmth to the images.
The couple and their loved ones created some unforgettable memories that will be cherished forever with the grand architecture of Thoresby Hall as a backdrop.
Allow me to tell you about their day.
It all started at Thoresby riding hall in Newark, providing the perfect backdrop for this special day, and despite the rain, the happy couple didn’t let the weather dampen their spirits. Poppy, their beautiful daughter stole the show in her little white dress, while Lola the dog added to the fun with her short presence for photos, How could we leave her out, she’s one of the family!
They had a food van serving fish and chips for the main meal, it was a hit with the guests. I managed to enjoy some myself while editing a few photos for the same-day slideshow at the bar which went down a treat with the bride and some guests.
THORESBY RIDING HALL
Thoresby Park is protected by The Stonebridge Trust, a charity working to preserve its listed buildings and park. By marrying there, you will not only be supporting their work but creating memories in a truly special place that you can revisit for years to come.
The live music provided by Annabelle Elizabeth created a beautiful atmosphere that set the tone for the evening, and the entrance of the couple was nothing short of epic. The room was alive with chanting, singing, and clapping, making it clear that this was a celebration of love and friendship that would be remembered for years to come.
Below are the groom and groomsmen with pink and white smoke bombs billowing around them. Despite the rain, they smiled confidently, knowing that the vibrant colours and unique atmosphere would make for unforgettable wedding photos. The groom supplied the smoke bombs himself, and the resulting images captured the excitement and energy of their special day in a truly captivating way.
Who said weddings had to be traditional and stuffy? This group knew how to celebrate in style
The speeches, cake cutting, and first dance were all lovely, but it was the crazy dancefloor moments and the photo booth, provided by Star Eventz, that were a massive hit with guests of all ages. With fun props and backdrops, guests could take hilarious photos together and create a guest book that Lee and Kelly will cherish for years to come. From silly poses to heartfelt messages, the guest book was a testament to the love and joy surrounding the couple on their special day.
DANCE FLOOR
As the night went on, the energy in the room continued to rise, with me capturing all the fun and craziness of the dancefloor. It was clear that everyone was having the time of their lives, and it was a joy to be a part of such a special occasion.
Lee and Kelly’s wedding was a reminder that love is worth celebrating, no matter how long it takes to get there. It was a day filled with happiness, laughter, and joy, and I wish them all the love and happiness in the world as they embark on their new journey together as a married couple.
