Discover The White Hart Inn, a boutique countryside wedding venue on the outskirts of the Peak District, nestled among picturesque country lanes and lush fields just outside the quiet village of South Wingfield.
The original character of the building is beautifully entwined with contemporary elegance to create a whimsical spot to host your special day, with reclaimed brick and stone walls and solid oak beams.
The Moorwood Suite is a refined canvas on which to style your dream wedding reception, and a private lounge bar with country decor will greet your guests. During the day, the outdoor terrace is a lovely retreat, with log burners, chandeliers, and blankets providing a cosy space in the fresh air.

You can tie the knot in The Moorwood Suite, the larger of our two ceremony rooms where you can comfortably seat up to 100 guests. Alternatively, for wedding parties of less than 70 guests you can exchange vows in the light and beautiful orangery whilst enjoying the peaceful surroundings.

Later in the evening, the Moorwood Suite will transform into a spectacular place to party. You can dance and celebrate to music by a live band or DJ, or play your own tracks through our fully installed sound system. Your guests can also enjoy a delicious evening snack from our array of evening food options. We are also licensed until the early hours of the morning, so you needn’t stop after the first dance. The suite can accommodate up to 200 evening guests, which is the perfect excuse to invite all your friends and family.

THE MOORWOOD SUITE

The Moorwood Suite is a refined canvas to style both your dream ceremony and wedding reception. Chic and elegant or contemporary and unorthodox. The specially designed suite can host 120 guests for a ceremony and 160 guests for your evening reception.

THE ORANGERY

The Orangery provides a light and unique space to say ‘I Do’. The Orangery is available for ceremonies of up to 70 guests, and it takes advantage of the beautiful surroundings.

Falling flowers from the skylights, floral arches and rustic lanterns are only a few ways that couples have beautifully styled The Orangery.
